THE RURAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING CENTER
The Rural Research and Training Center serves our membership in the Federation of Southern Cooperatives in a variety of ways. It serves first and foremost as a demonstration and hosting site for the work we do across the region. We also host retreats, annual meetings, and our annual Forestry Summer Camp.
Featured at the RTRC
The center is over 1100 acres, with bike trails, 20 rooms of lodging, an auditorium, two lakes with various fish, and riverside views of the Tom Bigby River.
Forestry Camp
Every year, the Federation of Southern Cooperatives and ASAC host around 30 children for a week of outside learning, fun and adventure.
